About the Job
Major Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and prevent pest infestations across the facility.
- Implement pest control and prevention measures for insects, rodents, and other pests.
- Monitor and maintain pest control devices, traps, and bait stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and relevant pest control regulations.
- Maintain pest control records, inspection reports, and chemical usage logs.
- Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to address pest-related issues.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of pest control chemicals.
- Coordinate with external pest control service providers when required.
Minimum Qualification:
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Pest Control, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in food production, meat processing, or food manufacturing facility.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of pest control methods, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with safe chemical handling and pest control equipment.
- Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a production environment and follow company safety procedures.
