About the Job
Job Purpose:
To plan, coordinate, and supervise construction project activities, ensuring that work is completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily construction activities and monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Review construction drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
- Identify technical issues, delays, and potential risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation, including method statements, inspection requests, and material approvals.
- Support project cost control, variation assessments, and timely completion of project milestones.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction project execution, preferably in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with Qatar construction standards, HSE requirements, and consultant coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.
- Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID are preferred.
